In 2017, JEC World launches a startup program, “Startup Booster”, to support impactful innovations and entrepreneurship.
The program aims at demonstrating how composites innovations can change the industrial landscape.
For its first edition, the program will focus on innovations for industrial processes and processed goods in the fields of composites with significant positive impacts ( environment, health, quality, costs…).
The innovations that will be submitted must fill at least one of the following criteria :
- Improvement of composites manufacturing processes and techniques (all kinds of useful innovations)
- Reduction of the environmental and sanitary impacts of industrial production and final use
- Development of composites with a cleantech, quality and cost effective approach in all potential applicative markets : aerospace, construction, consumer goods, energy, environment, health, mobility, transportation
- Target: innovative startups and innovative projects
The submission process and pitches at the show will be in English.

The start-ups that will be selected will benefit for FREE from:
- 10.000€ distributed among the 3 winners
- A large communication plan on all the JEC Media, plus towards 5.700 targeted journalists and 1.500 international trade magazines – to gain large and international visibility and credibility towards composites players

- Participation to the Executive Pitch in front of a Jury of Experts from the Industry, investors, industrial partners, purchasers, media – to get direct feedback and advise from key players, leaders in the industry
