IACMI CEO, Craig Blue, welcomed guests on the second day of the technical roadmapping event with an update on workforce internship opportunities. The EERE Robotics Internship Program is gearing up, with 23 of the 45 fully funded internships spots already reserved by corporate sponsors. With nearly 750 interested applicants, the internships will provide public and private entities an opportunity to experience the benefits of a centralized program designed to engage innovative thinkers and problem solvers with teamwork expertise.
Sponsored by First Robotics and funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Efficiency and Renewal Energy’s (EERE) Advanced manufacturing Office (AMO), the program equips corporations across the nation with the ability to host a 10-week, fully-funded summer internship benefiting workforce development.
