Tooling U-SME Partnership

IACMI and Tooling U-SME, a leading provider of manufacturing training solutions, have formed a partnership to expand the availability of advanced training for the composites manufacturing workforce.

The composite materials market in the U.S. grew by 3.7 percent last year, reaching $8 billion in value, and is expected to grow to $10.6 billion by 2022. Increased demand for lightweight and fuel-efficient vehicles, progression in new construction, upgrading of old infrastructures and rising demand for wind energy are key contributors to this growth, mostly in the aerospace and defense, wind energy, and transportation sectors.

To kick off the partnership as the market transforms, Tooling U-SME will begin deploying its existing customized learning and development programs to IACMI’s full membership base.

Available online in English and Spanish, the suite of courses provides training in composite materials and processes, as well as many other topics. For more information, contact
